Snakes!

I’ll be in Enid in November, where the wife is from.
Love Oklahoma :D
Small world! Been meaning to checkout Champlin Firearms in Enid.

when you are going to Enid shoot me a P.M. I live about 12 miles from Champlin. we can sit in a trophy room and have a couple adult beverages and visit if you want.
I don't let many snakes live around here either.

That would be great, I’ll definitely take you up on that offer! Yes, that’s the rules, no venomous snakes on the homestead!

A black mamba is determined to get to the other side of a river but first, it must get past the crocodiles.

Incredible sighting!
We just had to share it.
A guy saw this on the road to his house in Hoedspruit, South Africa.
Snake Eagle and Mamba had a full dust up … which ended up with both basically dead on the road at the end of the fight so he watched them for about 10 or 15 minutes until the Mambas nerves had basically stopped and he was finished … then … next thing the Snake Eagle jumps up, shakes it’s head, has a another go at the Mamba (which was dead by then) and flies off and sits in the tree?!
They watched the Snake Eagle for another 20 mins or so and then it flew off absolutely fine … they must have an unbelievable resistance to Mamba Venom!???

Wild, not sure why I have always been more co corned with snakes than predators. Just a phobia to deal with, I’m guessing.

This. Living in Australia and working in the scrub I regularly see Eastern Browns (2nd or third most venomous) which are very nervous snakes. It’s a meh. Leave ‘em be they leave you be. Just because they’re in the area doesn’t mean they gotta be killed. At least rattle snakes give you a warning :D

Here’s me with an eastern brown last year (releasing after a relocation) :)

Good on you mate . Like you I have had plenty of interactions with eastern brown snakes on my grazing prperties in Queensland and tiger snakes on my farm in Tasmania . My house in Brisbane is full of pythons which happily consume the rats , bats and possums . Never killed a snake in my life . I leave them alone and treat them with respect . Can’t understand all the phobias .

Much respect to you, you’re a rare one over here.

Just wanted to say thanks for the excellent customer service. Ordered some 9.3x62 brass and the delivery was a little short. An email through your website Contact Us link was replied to the next day with the tracking info for the correction. Good pricing coupled with great customer service will see returning customers every time. Thanks again!

I am righthanded, so not interested in the rifle, but I have a 375 RUM and 350 gr bullet loading data is very hard to come by. If you could reply with information regarding your loads I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you, Ray Boone, Leavenworth, WA
