Hi Guys,

One of my ranchers has some monster Scimitar Oryx that he wants to move. These animals are in prime condition and since they are in Texas you can take the venison home with you. Hunt is 3 days long, meals. lodge, guide and trophy fee included $6,000 all in for the hunt.

He has Gemsbok and Addax on the ranch for an additional trophy fee.

The ranch is located near Uvalde, Texas and is 2,500 acres, he is averaging over 40" on his Scimitar.

Let me know if you are interested these are great summer hunts.

That second one....

Both are nice looking animals. Agree with Royal, the second one is cool, looks like some sable the way it curls back

What are they getting for Addax, James?

These schimitar oryx are beautiful and extremely good eating. I am sure this would be a great hunt for someone.

Definitely on my radar to do in the future~

Just doesn't seem right....

Kudu and Oryx in texas

Man I don't care where they are they look great.

@Aaron Nietfeld , Some guys have no interest in Africa or they cant physically make that plane ride over the pond. Some of the exotics we have here can only be hunted in Texas. Animals like the Scimitar, damas gazelle, Arabian oryx and others could be extinct if it weren't for exotic ranches in Texas.

But, is it really different than a ranch hunt in RSA? Looking for specific mature animals on large heavily wooded ranches is challenging and difficult. Come down and hunt Axis in July with me 105 degrees no shade and not a breath of air. It will make you think twice.

If you're paying, let me know when to book my flight!(y)

I'm not questioning the ethics of this, just saying I wouldn't go out for Chinese and order a steak. But everyone is entitled to their preferences. Not picking a fight in any way.

Those are beautiful animals. I think if I did this hunt it would have to be in the spring time (late March early April) and pose those animals in a field of blue bonnets and indian paint brushes. That would be a trophy shot.:P Cowboy:

In a field that looks like this

I have a Chapuis 450-400 double that looks brand new and shoots well, never been hunted from what I can tell. I am willing to part with it as I have a 375 H&H Sodia on it's way from Dorleac & Dorleac. I am looking for $9,250 for it and if you are interested, I am happy to send you some pictures. Regards,
Steve
