Quite a fancy gopher gun. And threaded for a can? Wow. Someone must be genuinely recoil intolerant. Seems like a good buy. Just as flexible as an R8 at a fraction of the price.

Actually, I have shot one of these. Took this springbuck with the property owner's 6.5 PRC. I thought my 30-06 would reach but he more or less insisted. I think it had a can but not sure. Photo op was with my rifle. His was also Savage as I recall but quite the custom job. Pretty much a target setup that he used for culling and varmints. I only fired the one round but it seemed like a nice gun. Very heavy though. I do remember that much. Perhaps bull barrel?

My wife’s .308 shoots very well. I added automotive sound deadening material in the butt of the stock, painted it. And added elk leather over foam for a custom cheek piece.

Saturdays practice with CEB raptors, dialing the scope in to new bullet weight. Dialed the scope up after the two low shots.
