Sako 75 - still a good buy?

Absolutely love my Sako 75 7mm Rem Mag. It’s been a favorite deer, wild pig and elk rifle. It’s a post barrel recall and one of the most accurate rifles I own maybe because of the heavy barrel. Nothing wrong with the Tikka T3X but I like the all metal Sako 75/85 with no plastic parts.

I've an opportunity to buy a Sako 75; it's clean and appears to only have had light use. My one concern is that Sako stopped making the 75 nearly 20 years ago. Is a 75 still a good buy or should I go for a newer Tikka T3X (which will be a similar price)?
I have Sako 85.
When I bought it, old Sako fans and owners said, Sako 75 was better. (allegedly due to different design of locking lugs or extractor)
Now there is Sako 90 on the market and 85 is phased out, and based on specs, I think 85 was better (due to new design of ejection port, and reduced number of calibers in production).
In conclusion, I would buy the 75, provided that it is in good condition. Old school.

Tikka: single stack magazine, plastic. Sako double stack magazine, metal.
Sako 85 has three position safety (check on 75, is it the same or similar), tikka has two position safety.
Sako has dove tail to fit the scope bases, tikka is drilled and tapped.
Sako has set trigger, tikka has standard trigger, single stage
Most of the features are better on Sako.

Both rifles are good and accurate out of box, I have both (85 and older T3), but Sako is of higher standard.

Interesting thread, don't know much about the Sako though I do have one Tikka. Re: older SAKO's what is the experience out there with the older model Sako L61 R Finn Bear models ?

Sir, I will gladly take that 16 gauge off your hands. I was waiting for your Winchesters but I'm a sucker for a 16 ga.

I bought a great deal of the brass he had for sale, plus I already had many hundred rounds.

How much brass are you looking for?
