At the last few SCI shows in Nashville, TAG didn't have a proper booth to try on pants, and I wasn't impressed with the shorts. I do like the shirts quite a bit though.I love their shirts, especially those that have the padding on the left side. That being said when I had ordered some pants from them they were not true to size and were flimsy, a couple actually came ripped. So, for pants I wear 5.11 cotton/canvas pants as shown below with Tag's shirt.

I have been using techwear pants for safari trips and they breathe well. Their cotton blends are durable and comfortable in heat. You can see the exact models I prefer at techwear. One tip that helped me was switching undershorts to reduce chafing. It makes a real difference.
Of all the pants I have worn on all my safaries KUIU long pants are the absolute best. Lightweight, tear resistant and comfortable, no not cotton but quiet, all I now wear when I wear long pants. I like them so much I just got two pair in their mid length shortsI’ve been in the market for buying a couple of pairs of safari pants, I prefer 100%cotton, Ive looked at TAGs pants however I like there shirts and shorts the pants just don’t do it for me, looking for feedback on some brands that you all have used, I feel like some folks maybe using the cotton BDU surplus pants? Thoughts appreciated in advance.
