Less
How does Rusan's quality measure up against EAW/Recknagel?
Less known brand, so lesser prices.
Rusan is workshop in Croatia, with maybe 15 - 20 employees, steadily increasing production and number of gadgets offer.
In last 30 years, his products became popular first regionally and then internationally.
For my buffalo gun, i took Rusan magnum type German steel swing mounts with 6 screws, on front ring. After 4 airplane trips, connecting flights and frequent shooting with 375, 300 grainers, in last few years it hasnt moved point aim/impact for an inch. I remove the scope for every plane travel, and gunsmith visit. So very frequent.
Bluing holds well, after handling with sweat on hands (to be compared to ZKK 602 rifle bluing which leaked first spots of rust due to sweat, after two safaris and I had to make new bluing on the rifle).
I use other type Rusan mounts on piccatiny rail on other rifle, and change scopes frequently for this or that application, cal 9.3x62.
Point of aim/impact hasnt changed for years.
Below are Rusan swing mounts on my 375 (photo by mobile phone).
