i am planning on putting a scope on my Dutch M95 Mannlicher and was looking at the QD mounts from Rusan, has any one used these mounts? Would it be a viable option for this rifle? It looks like they are in Germany from the web site altho I did not learn too much there I have sent an email to see what is available Would appreciate any feedback you might wish to share.

I have Rusan QD on piccatiny on one rifle, and Rusan swing mounts on ZKK 602, the other rifle.
Works great.
For Dutch M95 Manlicher need to check with seller to confirm to be 100% certain.
Optics trade sell Rusan gadgets. You can drop an email to optics trade as well to double check.

How does Rusan's quality measure up against EAW/Recknagel?
Less known brand, so lesser prices.
Rusan is workshop in Croatia, with maybe 15 - 20 employees, steadily increasing production and number of gadgets offer.

In last 30 years, his products became popular first regionally and then internationally.

For my buffalo gun, i took Rusan magnum type German steel swing mounts with 6 screws, on front ring. After 4 airplane trips, connecting flights and frequent shooting with 375, 300 grainers, in last few years it hasnt moved point aim/impact for an inch. I remove the scope for every plane travel, and gunsmith visit. So very frequent.

Bluing holds well, after handling with sweat on hands (to be compared to ZKK 602 rifle bluing which leaked first spots of rust due to sweat, after two safaris and I had to make new bluing on the rifle).

I use other type Rusan mounts on piccatiny rail on other rifle, and change scopes frequently for this or that application, cal 9.3x62.
Point of aim/impact hasnt changed for years.

Below are Rusan swing mounts on my 375 (photo by mobile phone).

I've got a Rusan mount on my Heym 7x64. On my Zastava 375 h&h a Recknagel. Both work great. When home I'll will try to send some pictures.

Interesting, they look good, are you planning on taking the scope off every time you load a clip ?

Did you see the packet I found so far, sent in PM ?

Sarg
No nothing has shown up on pm's
and yes I will have to remove the scope to load if I use over the bore mounting, have not found any side mounts yet that would work for me.
