This Ruger was made around 2004. It has been fired very little as the condition shows. There are only a couple of handling marks on the butt stock. The wood graining is beautiful. It has the standard ruger recoil pad and the lenght of pull is 13.625" There are no flaws whatsoever in the bluing, bore or wood finish, almost new. It comes with the Ruger rings, unfortunately I do not have the box.
I offer a 3 day non firing inspection to support my description
I am asking $900 plus shipping which is firm. however you can make offers and I will give them consideration

I have the 458 Lott in the Ruger #1 but the wood is nowhere near as nice as yours. Best of luck selling your rifle!

Ruger #1's intrigue me . well done .

The Ruger #1s are really my favorite rifle. They did make this rifle in the 450/400 along with the 458 Mag and 458 Lott for those who love the big bores. Now they only make them as a special order for one distributor in the states.
One my trip over in July I will bring my #1 in 300 win mag for bait shooting and maybe some plains game after spots is in the salt!

Charlie, I once passed up on a 7x57 , Ruger #1 with Manlicher stock , the rifle was a short rifle , I think around 18" ( not sure of the length exactly) , I regret not buying it .

I wouldn't mind adding a #1 in 375 to the battery but would like it in stainless steel.

Bass.........just to keep the temptation flowing, a very good article on the Ruger No.1 International 7x57. They are cool rifles!

Also, Gunbroker has 3 of those listed.

@375 Ruger Fan , to keep the thread flowing here is a picture of the rifle , NB this is not my rifle it is a picture that I have downloaded . I think the rifle comes with a 16" barrel !

The second picture ALSO FOUND ONLINE , shows how small the rifle is

That's a cool looking rifle for sure. Must be a custom job with that short barrel. Research indicates that the factory offerings were 20 to 26 inch barrels.

it is definitely not custom , I handled one in a shop , that is how they came ........... I am almost positive they came 16"barrel as well , hence why I liked it so much , great caliber and great size rifle .

I found this explanation at: http://www.realguns.com/articles/802.htm

"The first production Ruger No.1 rifles shipped in September of 19661). Sturm, Ruger & Co. Inc. promoted the rifle as being efficient; the No.1 action is approximately 4.5" shorter than that of a bolt action rifle. Subsequently the No.1 can have a longer barrel while maintaining the same or less overall length as other firearm types."
