Rigby .375 for sale

Does the re barrel lower the value? Why isn’t the Rigby logo engraved into the top of the action. Or did they all not have that done ?

It was re- bored, not re-barreled. And yes it does affect the value. As for the Rigby name not being on the receiver ring, some have it and some dont.
my original step ring ,,no logo. my 375 rebore has the logo maybe because the ring is longer ,

I've decided to part with my Rigby. 375 that I bought in 2023 when I thought Delta had lost my custom Brevex for good. This is an original Rigby that started out as a .350/400 in 1905 and was at some point re-bored to .375 H&H. Rigby says that they didn't do the re-bore.
It has the slant box magazine and feeds flawlessly. The restoration work was done by Lon Paul.

Without question a gorgeous gun!!!! Just for my learning since I do not know…does rebarreling a rifle like this reduce or increase its value? It seems to me given it is now in such a popular caliber it would increase its value?

my apologies…rebored not rebarreled

it makes a much more useable rifle out of it ,the ammo is everywhere and that particular rifle could be set up with a scope using the square bridges by most competent gunsmiths , the 400/350 was a bit lighter than the 350 magnum so it will kick a bit but it has a cross bolt added which means it may have started out life as a 400/350 slantbox action and was used for a 350 magnum ,then rebored to 375 ala Paul Roberts an original 350 magnum in original condition would be worth a bit more

I've decided to withdraw this sale. Administrators please remove.

I need to know if this is legit. Photo with today's paper would do it.

Thanks

I just saw Budsgunshop.com has both the guide gun and the African for $1150. FWIW - I bought both and decided to use the Guide gun - I restocked it in a Bell and Carlson stock and I added the Alaska arms floor plate to add a round. I wanted the shorter barrel as I will use a suppressor. I wont go lower than $1100, but I will ship it and no sales tax.

Let me know if you are interested
