Retired - Now What?

Well, this sure spurred a lot of comments.
I retired at 70 after 48 years drilling oil wells and seeing the world doing it. No regrets.
On retirement, I suggest investing in people that cross your path.
I miss my friends at work but I do not miss the politics and BS you deal with at “work”.
I say invest in people because hunting/fishing/travel/hobby ranches get really old after a bit. They are good things to do, but make no impact or eternal significance.
Remember, what you do here matters. You will have eternity to view this life so make it count for someone!

it has not gotten old for me, i,m to busy for that. i know what had helped me make it to retirement after 42 years and a stint in uncle sams employment. likeing the job i had, if i didn,t like the job i transfered out to another job site, i had a good union rep who was a good friend(that helped). heavy highway was what i realy liked and did a little piping along the way. got around to getting the wife a new dish washer, she don,t think to much of him/
