Tell me your thoughts on the Remington 541 T in .22lr.
Good - bad- accurate- nothing special??

I have one in my safe that I inherited from grandpa, haven't shot it yet, but she's a beautiful gun

Agreed that they a beautiful gun. Looked at them years ago, but did not buy. There were talks about hit and miss accuracy. just depending on the gun. So, all I can offer is hearsay.

I have always wanted one of these in Curly Maple (the Lew Horton Stock). If I ever find one - I'm pulling the trigger - literally.

Had one of the HB models and never did find that it was more than "normal" accurate with a variety of .22 brands--- but probably could have given it some time with standard velocity "target loads" and maybe it would have been a keeper. Is a "purdy" rifle though.

I bought one to have as a "keepsake" item from an Uncle who passed a few years back. His brother (another Uncle) talks up both the 541T and 541S as highly accurate. I've not gotten around to shooting it yet to confirm or dispute his opinion of them.

My brother in law was heavily involved in BR22--he proved 50x over that he could afford any .22 he wanted. His choice for squirrel hunting was the Rem 541T

Almost bought one new back in the 90s, but the cheap plastic magazine turned me off. Now there is a guy who makes high quality steel replacement magazines for them and the 581. I should have bought it.

I have been using a "Personal Property" rider on my State Farm homeowner's policy to cover guns when I travel with them.
I have several firearms, but only one is worth over $20K (A Heym double rifle).
Very interested.
Would firearms be covered for damage, as well as, complete loss?
I'll can let the State Farm rider cover my watches...
