Reloading Bench

If you find a decent beck you may be able to drop a precut bench top from the Hardware and bolt it while bolting down a press.

As others said you want some weight. Helps when sizing cases. Especially if you are buying in a branch you won’t bolt to the floor.

I’ve posted mine before, but here is a new pic. As others have said, I can’t emphasize adding mass to your bench enough.

I just broke the decapping pin on my .375H&H die. Damn near flipped the bench on me trying to bust the primers out.

In my new house there is no basement and the garage is not heated. With this, I had to come up with something that met my wife's decor approval for the loft area of our home.

I bought a cast iron drafting table (online). The frame came in 3 pieces and weights around 400 lbs which ended up being perfect for mounting a rifle reloading press.

For a top I went to Home Depot and bought and mounted the pictured wooden kitchen island top.

A bit fancy for me but got her approval so it works.

I like that the table can easily crank up or down for sitting or standing.

The only advice I'll give is stability and weight are very important.

That’s one of the nicest benches I’ve ever seen. Great idea.

Had an excellent classifieds transaction with JoninCO. A truly honest and standup member. I wouldn't hesitate at all to deal with him again. Thanks, J!

Hi Lance, Hope you well. I collect Mauser rifles and they are very much part of my cultural history in Africa. Would you consider selling the rifle now a year on ? I'd like to place it in my collection of Mauser rifles. Many thx

I saw where you hunted elephant with backcountry safaris in Zimbabwe.
Was looking to book an elephant hunt and wanted to know how your hunt went
and if you would recommend them.

Thanks
Mike
hi, do you know about lions hunters, leopard hunters, and crocodiles hunters of years 1930s-1950s
I'm new to Africa Hunting. I would like to purchase a Heym 450-400 double rifle. I'm left-handed but would prefer a non-canted gun. Is anyone in the community considering parting with theirs?
