Hello, I can use some help. Is there a mount that adjusts? Or universal a mount that allows mounting an RMR or red dot site on a double?
Or are they rifle brand, and site brand specific. As scopes are?

The Trijicon RM57 works on 11-12mm ribs and the RM58 on 14-16mm ribs. I used mine on three different doubles (2 Merkels and a VC) with the same RM57 mount.

Safe shooting

I wrote an article on this a while back

What brand of double are you using? Chapuis and I think Heym both have a removable piece of the rib that makes mounting a red dot sight easy. I put a Trijicon RMR on my Chapuis. Works great.
Mark's article above is very informative.

I bought a Johan Franzoj from NTO Chris Cantrell

This is the link to page one of my Red Dot - RMR Sights on DGR article.
Sorry, I posted the link above to page 4 of the thread using my phone...

Hi Lance, Hope you well. I collect Mauser rifles and they are very much part of my cultural history in Africa. Would you consider selling the rifle now a year on ? I'd like to place it in my collection of Mauser rifles. Many thx

I saw where you hunted elephant with backcountry safaris in Zimbabwe.
Was looking to book an elephant hunt and wanted to know how your hunt went
and if you would recommend them.

Thanks
Mike
hi, do you know about lions hunters, leopard hunters, and crocodiles hunters of years 1930s-1950s
I'm new to Africa Hunting. I would like to purchase a Heym 450-400 double rifle. I'm left-handed but would prefer a non-canted gun. Is anyone in the community considering parting with theirs?
