Just returned from successful leopard hunt in Namibia. Would like to hunt an elephant/non export bull or cull.
Will travel to SCI Nashville 2025. Need advice
Thank You

Hello. Welcome to the forum. I hunted last year this timeframe with Karl at Ndumo safaris in the caprivi. Great outfit and lots of elephants. They can do importable and non-export. They are also a sponsor, look them up. Another great place is the Save valley of Zimbabwe. Most outfits will have tuskless or cow permits as well as the more expensive importable bulls. Good luck with your hunt!

I’d prioritize the outfitters who currently hold the rights to a concession there. Jamy Traut Safaris, Kou Kuas safaris, Omujeve, ndumo. There are a few others. There are also outfitters/PHs buying quota and selling hunts there. I think hunting with outfitters who currently hold a concession will give the most flexibility. They have something to trade with other outfitters if elephant aren’t moving in their area during your hunt. If you hunt with a PH buying quota I’d only hunt with one well established in the Caprivi so he can come up with other options if needed. Make sure you ask when their current contract on concession runs until.

Good day sir

You are welcome to chat to me about elephant hunting, or come and visit us at the SCI convention in Nashville in January. I love talking elephant, and you are welcome to chat to me even if you decide to book with someone else.

I have been using a "Personal Property" rider on my State Farm homeowner's policy to cover guns when I travel with them.
I have several firearms, but only one is worth over $20K (A Heym double rifle).
Very interested.
Would firearms be covered for damage, as well as, complete loss?
I'll can let the State Farm rider cover my watches...

trperk1, I bought the Kimber Caprivi 375 back in an earlier post. You attached a target with an impressive three rounds touching 100 yards. I took the 2x10 VX5 off and put a VX6 HD Gen 2 1x6x24 Duplex Firedot on the rifle. It's definitely a shooter curious what loads you used for the group. Loving this rifle so fun to shoot. Africa 2026 Mozambique. Buff and PG. Any info appreciated.
