Questions about places to stay in Victoria Falls and East London

Good afternoon
I have a few questions
My family and a friend are getting ready to book flights to Africa and looking for recommendations for a place to stay in Victoria falls and East London. And things to do while in East London, we are thinking about staying a few days after our safari.

And should we exchange our dollars while there or before we arrive?
So many questions that are starting to pop up

Just returned from a hunt in the Limpopo area of SA in May. My wife and I stayed at The Victoria Falls Hotel in room 26 for 3 days of touring. Absolutely charming and elegant. Views of Vic Falls and a wonderful breakfast included. Dine at the hotel and be VERY satisfied. We were very happy. Good luck!
