Question for 500 Jeffery owners....

Dave, to make a .500 Jeffery round fit into a Mauser 98 action really is not too difficult at all. Making it feed flawlessly takes some doing but not impossible

As said contact me to see if we can put something together...500 jeff...505 gibbs definitely...or some of the bigger double calibres....all acceptable...and also do another for say 350 rigby...318 Westley..333 Jeffery...or any of the more obscure old timers....only @lvW in contact so far....iron sights be good...but if can't use them for various reasons....other types will be acceptable..... :E Big Grin:

Now that I own a Jeffrey and if the UPS gods allow in a few days I will have a decent supply of brass, I would be interested in something of this sort.

Send me pm if you are interested and will send you my cell number..:D Beers:

Would the .458 Mannlicher Schoenauer qualifies as well with a ghost ring sight or the standard v-express sights as well?? :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:

thanks for your reply bob , is it feasible to build a 444 on a P14/M17 , or is the no4 enfield easier to build? i know where i can buy a lothar walther barrel in 44, 1-38 twist , but i think with a barrel crown of .650" the profile is too light .
