Part 2.
Second week of hunting after three days in Kruger and then a few days at Victoria Falls.
Also, the lion encounter, Boma dinner with native dancing and A Sunset cruise on the Zambezi river.

The first week I hunted In the Limpopo area near Kruger park. The late rains have made the bushveld very hard to see animals, so we drove southwest to the east cape. We hunted four different concessions close to each other. The bushveld had more hills and less brush, more open grass areas and more trophy animals to shoot at.
A lot colder, freezing at night, pants with long sleeve shirts during the day. I did not bring much cold weather clothing, so I wore two pairs of pants for the morning drive with a heavy hooded sweater under a hooded jacket.

6-16-25. Day 6 hunting.
Shot a Warthog in the grass. Saw the top of a large pig, and his big ole tusks. Lined up the shot and heard the words shoot and dropped him in his tracks.

6-17-25, Day 7 hunting.
Hartebeest and Lechwe.

Thank you. I ran into another one a few days later that was much bigger, but it was my first year hunting Africa and I did not want to get to greedy. Maybe not greedy, but to far over budget, which I already was.
