The Eastern Cape of South Africa is a wonderful region to hunt. A variety of different terrain and species, there is something for everyone. It makes for a wonderful experience, especially with family and friends!

Both @GAME 4 AFRICA SAFARIS and @frontier safaris are great in East SA to take a family to take some nice animals on a great hunt for a great value. For example with these two outfitters you can take a kudu, zebra, wildebeest, springbok and impala for $5k and have wonderful accommodations and a great way to introduce someone to Africa
 
I can highly recommend Tsala Hunting Safaris in South Africa, they can provide what you are looking for and a hole lot more!

Might be the safest country in all of Africa. And Tholo is top notch, excellent operation with outstanding hunting.

Hi Dr. Ray, I will be in Cooktown from Oct 16 to Oct 23 fishing Lizard Island Black Marlin Tournament.

I have several "slack" days after fishing before I head for stay in Sydney and Fiji.

Do you have any recommendations for 1 or 2 day hunt near Cooktown?

I've hunted both DG and PG in 4 different countries in Africa.
