New Zealand Thar/Chamois Hunt

Has anyone hunted with kent Kaiser of New Zealand for Thar and Chamois? Would appreciate any comments and/or reviews. He has been advertising a lot of hunts that seem really cheap.

I'd caution against it. He's not based in NZ.
There are plenty of good NZ operators.

I’d want someone that knows where all the good meat pies are found and can point out different species of their trees/wood.

Looks like he's an agent out of Michigan, not the actual Guide/Outfitter. I'm curious now, as NZ is a hunt I want but prices are high and the travel involved from Eastern US.

I'm sure he has references, and I'm sure he uses local guides/Outfitters.

Finally booked a return to New Zealand. Hunting with LOCHINVAR SAFARIS. https://www.lochinvarsafaris.co.nz/
They were at the Sacramento ISE show this season and I was there booking a 5 Day Alberta Duck and Goose hunt. My good friend and hunting partner Steve made the introduction and I’m pleased with the package I negotiated.


Hunting:
500” Stag
Tahr
Chamois
Arapawa Ram
Fallow Buck
Feral Goat - if they have a good one worth shooting.
Cull hunt if opportunity presents.
Maybe a day or two of fishing…

Leave May 9th and return May 21st this year.

@NEW ZEALAND SAFARIS is a sponsor outfitter. Have a look at them. I have not hunted with them but have communicated about a future hunt and they were very responsive. I believe they also attend SCI and DSC.
