Just purchased a new, take-off barrel for my Tikka T3x to have as a spare. I could just as easily have changed calibers. Cost was $100 plus shipping.
Unknown Munitions was the site I used. Precision Defense Industries offers take-off barrels as well (I THINK they want $150), where a person buys a Tikka then rebarrels with some other choice, leaving a new pristine, threaded barrel to be sold off.
Well, I always did like a bargain. And at some point might decide to change calibers.
Just a heads up, maybe should have been placed in "gun deals'?

I don’t see either website listing the barrels for sale?
I gave Unknown Munitions a phone call. Their site had listed 7mm Mag barrels in CM but did not list the barrel length so I got them to go find one of the 22 or so they had on hand. Did that today.
The other site, as well, I think you have to type in what you want in search because these sales are secondary to their main business.

OK, what I had done was type into Google, "Tikka T3C used barrels for sale" and when the listings came up, Precision Defense Industries had a listing to click on and what IMMEDIATELY came up were their barrels for sale. They did not have 7mag at this time, but others are listed.
Call Unknown Munitions at 208-262-6103

@steve white
Just be careful.
Just because it's off the same model doesn't mean the headspace will be the same.
Check the headspace before using it after changing the barrel.

Precision Defense Industries charges $150 but guarantees they are unfired. The other guys "think" they are unfired....

A mate bought a REM 700 in 30-06 came with a brand new unfired REM in 25-06 factory barrel.
When we went to the gunsmith to swap barrels the new 25-06 barrel needed .004" taken off the shoulder to correct the excess headspace.

Tools wear and tolerance changes from rifle to rifle. Even Savage uses a Brewer nut to lock the barrel at correct headspace as each rifle is different. You may get lucky and it's fine but it's not common
If you change the barrel play it SAFE AND GET THE HEADSPACE CHECKED.
you only have one set of eyes and one life. Mistakes aren't worth the risk

What is the system to change barrel?
Gunsmith needed?
Threaded, or some take down system?

I'll be using a gunsmith. The barrel is threaded, but headspace may not be automatic. Just thought it was cheaper than a new barrel blank, and who knows--I may never wear out the original.

I liberally shoot my Tikka in 308, long training strings, for last 15 years. Still shoots, like it was new.
This will depend on caliber, maintenance, and shooting regimen.
Good luck!

@mark-hunter
You will need a barrel vice, action wrench and a set of go- no go gauges. This will assist you in barrel removal and installation as well as checking the headspace. If you don't have the tools a gunsmith is the cheaper option.

@Steve-white
And you might get lucky and it screws in and doesn't need a headspace adjustment.

Jake, Sorry to bug you again. I was wondering if you could share a. couple actual pics of this crossbow with me?

Xpedition Archery USED Scrapeline390X Sniper Gray Crossbow XACW1001 - Light Wear - Needs Bolt/Arrow Guide Spring UA5689

If it is in a decent shape, would you be willing to sell it for $100 shipped? IS it missing the retention spring that goes over the bolt?
Thank you Ferenc

Good morning John, I just read your setup procedure for the northstar duplicator ator. I found it very hand and I did learn some things. I have the same machine and I am having a problem i can not figure out and was hoping you could shed some light on the subject.
