Hi All,
New member and wanted to introduce myself.
Name is Jim Dale, hunted and shot my whole life. Live in Nor Cal and have dreamed of going to Africa since I was a kid, I blame Capstick. I run a construction company and at 58 years old and not getting younger I have to get serious about making it happen. I have learned a lot reading through the site and look forward to learning more.

Welcome to AH!

:S Welcome:

Capstick suckered me in also!

Welcome to the forum.

Welcome to AH. Just do it. You need time for multiple trips!

I made my first trip in 2007 (age 42).

I'm 60 now, and just sent an e-mail to my PH in Mozambique telling him that I wanted a shot at a problem elephant this year, if one happens to come along.

If you have the means, get started ASAP!

I walked over 40 miles to take a Cape Buffalo in 2021.

When you are too old and decrepit to walk, you can tell your grandchildren stories from your rocking chair.

(I would rather have stories to tell when I'm 85, than just will them $250K, which won't even buy a single-wide trailer and an acre of land north Georgia now.)

I have a Chapuis 450-400 double that looks brand new and shoots well, never been hunted from what I can tell. I am willing to part with it as I have a 375 H&H Sodia on it's way from Dorleac & Dorleac. I am looking for $9,250 for it and if you are interested, I am happy to send you some pictures. Regards,
Steve
