A friend recently showed me this and I figured some might be interested around here. I'm not pitching them in anyway since my quiver is full of a couple other well proven broadheads but they look like a pretty tough 2-blade single bevel broadhead. Reasonably priced to boot.

Neat, thanks for posting. Do you think it's shape creates something unique?

The blade shapes aren't new. The contour ones are similar to Simmons Shark broadheads and the others remind me of a 3-bladed glue on head I tried using back in the 80's that I'm sure had been around a while. The big difference is these are single bevel. As for any advantage, they think so or they wouldn't make them that way, but I can't say one way or another. I'll let others debate that.

The debate I found elsewhere was comparing this to a Helix broadhead. The story goes that the single bevel induces spin. I don't know enough to say one way or the other on that. But, my initial concern is with the sharpened edge on the back edge and my finger lol

I prefer a ferrule that tapers into the the blade on the front more than this. Heads sharpened on the back edge cut when working back out of the wound channel.

looks like the Helix broadhead

I will let everyone know what I think. I have a set that I have been planning on using this year. I'll take some photos of entrance and exit holes plus blood trails. They will be used on whitetail this season

looks like the Helix broadhead

The 'classic' in the picture above sure does resemble the Helix broadhead. I have shot the Helix for a few years, including two trips to Africa. Great broadhead. My PH was very impressed with how well it performed. I would expect the kudupoint would work well also.

yep, Helix are awesome broadheads

I'm unfortunately on a diet. Presently in VA hospital as Agent Orange finally caught up with me. Cancer and I no longer can speak. If all goes well I'll be out of here and back home in Thailand by end of July. Tough road but I'm a tough old guy. I'll make it that hunt.

Nice one there. I guided for mulies and elk for about 10 or so years in northern New Mexico.

Business is the only way to fly. I'm headed to SA August 25. I'm hoping that business isn't an arm and a leg. If you don't mind, what airline and the cost for your trip. Mine will be convoluted. I'll be flying into the states to pick up my 416 Rigby as Thailand doesn't allow firearms (pay no attention to the daily shootings and killings) so I'll have 2 very long trips.

Hi EGS

I read your thread with interest. Would you mind sending me that PDF? May I put it on my website?
