Here is a box of 9.3x82r cases. This was a less common chambering for German drillings, singles and doubles. They seem to be very hard to find and the length makes them impossible to form from other cases. I’d like $80 shipped for this box of 20. I have 3-4 other fired cases that I will throw in the box as well.

Thanks,

RC

Anyon else need any 9.3x82R brass? I have 18 pc for $70 plus shipping.

All.
The 9.3x82R brass that I had has been spoken for and I am now in need of more 9.3x82R brass. Well, I bought a double rifle in 9.3x82R so I need more brass

Boomer,

Thank you. However, whoever wrote that was very ignorant and should not be writing technical gun information.

The 30/06 case head is 0.470" and the 9.3x82 case head is 0.428". To get the head of a 30/06 to 0.428" requires a hydraulic press and case forming dies similar to the set up that specialty case manufacturers have.

Even then, the 30/06 case is only 63mm long whereas the 9.3x82r case is 82mm long.

At best, with this case and case forming equipment, what you would get is a 38/55 which is just too short.

I think one could get away with using low temp "silver" solder to extend the case of a 38/55 to 3 1/4" (82mm).

BTW, what type of a rifle do you have?

It’s a German drilling rifle. I am unsure of the manufacturer. I’ve been back and fourth with Hakan Spurh trying to figure that part out. These articles are just things I have found in some old books I have. I’ll eventually find a parent case to use.

If you have not already, you might want to do a chamber cast to confirm it is a 9.3x82r. I think I mentioned earlier that RMC can make the brass.

Boomer,
You might try using 30/30 basic which is 3 1/4" but has a 0.320 head so the whole case would have to be annealed and fire formed with a light load to expand to that of your 9.3x82R

Xpedition Archery USED Scrapeline390X Sniper Gray Crossbow XACW1001 - Light Wear - Needs Bolt/Arrow Guide Spring UA5689

If it is in a decent shape, would you be willing to sell it for $100 shipped? IS it missing the retention spring that goes over the bolt?
Thank you Ferenc

Good morning John, I just read your setup procedure for the northstar duplicator ator. I found it very hand and I did learn some things. I have the same machine and I am having a problem i can not figure out and was hoping you could shed some light on the subject.
