I was offered a merkel 470 with ovtogon barrel and gold inlay. In very good condition. What is a fair price ?

Engraving is completely subjective, and holds no intrinsic value.

A name or initials that are engraved, makes the gun worth less.,

Lots of unknowns to suggest a proper price value but I'd agree with @Safari Dave that I would be in the $7k range after several more verified checks of course.
