I think the 38 say's a Model 10 & .. Model 19, 357

Pop the cylinders open and look for the model number possibly with “dash number” (engineering design change) stamped on the split crane just above the hinge pin. All post ‘57/58 S&W revolvers should have their model number stamped there.

Like I commented, my classic stainless has the original 24” barrel.

Did you buy yours with the barrel already cut down to 21” or did you do it (or a gunsmith)?
