I have the same gun in 35 Whelen. Love it. Just shot a large Audad with it.

Frank was building me a .585 Nyati at the time for my Safari but it wasn't ready so he sold me this one to use...When I returned I got the .585 and regretfully sold the pipsqueak 505 [emoji6](now I prefer 600s)[emoji1783]

How much is a rifle like that worth. Knowing you as some of us do, shortly after you find this rifle and bring it back home, you'll have it for sale. The change I give to my grandkids to save, I may have to keep for myself. This is a gorgeous rifle.

P.S. I have no idea what I would do with a .505!

That is one good looking rifle, good luck on your search! @sierraone, I can think of a couple of things but another buff would be a good place to start... The grandkids will always be grateful for the change and of course all of grandpa's African mounts that is hanging above the fireplace?
