LEGISLATION ABOUT MINIMUM KE AND/OR MOMENTUM FOR BOW HUNTING

Here in Mauritania we don't have minimum requirements. It would be interesting to have some kind of summary of the minimum requirements in other countries; moreover who is supposed to check this upon arrival?
Sometimes I forget all the KE-MOMENTUM mambo-jambo but wish to have some benchmark to avoid to get the wrong tackle for the country.
I use a 63#-70#-80# LB @ 28" with arrow of different weight and FOC depending on the animal.

In Canada each province sets its minimums and standards.
One province:
(k) with a bow having a pull of less than 18 kg within the archer's draw length,

Yet another:
An authorized bow is one that is held, drawn and released by muscular power and has a draw weight of not less than 18 kg (40 lb.). This is the number of kilograms (pounds) required to draw an arrow of 71 cm (28 in.) to its head. An authorized arrow is one that is not less than 61 cm (24 in.) in length that has a tip that bears a head that is not intentionally designed to resist being withdrawn after it has penetrated an object. Furthermore, it must either have a solid, sharp cutting head of at least 7/8 inch in width, or a head that, when the arrow impacts, opens to present sharp cutting edges at least 7/8 inch in width.

Interesting I'll have to do a little calculation to see how the 70# & 80# compare for medium sized animals, I figure I will have to work out arrows in the range of 750-850 grains @ 29".

63# (this has reinforced tips so I use Spectra string which makes it a little faster than the other two) - 70# - 80# @ 28" (70" long) all American semi-longbow of the Howard Hill type; as a rule of thumb each should develop a speed equal to 115 fps + weight of the bow (fps) from the manufacturer reccommendation, all my current wood arrows (Douglas Fir and Port Oxford Cedar) go from 630 grains up to 850 grain as the bow weight increases, 165 grains Howard Hill broad heads. I can make heavier arrows using Ash and step up from 11/32" to 23/64 with tapered nock and point ends or use carbon with heavier ~200 grains point and some insert weight as I have a dozen or so of Gold Tip Hunter Pro shafts received as a gift.
