Ok this is bacilly a fl man thing besides living here I don’t know how I get involved in some of this mess
I had a buddy show me a marlin in 375 ruger
Said he got a good deal on it because a local shop had to buy so many rifles and ammo back during Covid.
Any way he was sold the rifle for 250$ and the case of ammo he didn’t say the price on the ammo.
So I was like ok any reason or just something to play with.
He said going home from work he saw where a tree a fell on a fince. Well the big deal it’s at a elephant rescue. We have had elephant and other dangerous animals get lose and cause problems. With our hurricane it very well could be a issue.
He lives a lot closer than I do so I understand his wanting the gun.
I am still known in leo circles and have family as the city manager in the closeist town.
So if they do get out and cause a problem I probably am one of the few that might get a call. Not will but might.
Since my shoulder has been torn up
The biggest thing I have are a 338 win mag , 45-70
Probably will never need them
But with a deep penetration load like a 300 gr solid on the 338 or buffalo bore load on the 45-70
Be enough in a emergency
Of o remember right the last elephant that went on a rampage in fl was taken out by a buch of 308 fmj buy a few leos

It’s to be honest is probably nothing
But we try to be prepared

What in the hillbilly is this…

And marlin doesn’t make a 375 ruger, in any rifle.

What a strange rambling post.
Yea sorry
Just of it there a elephant rescue
My buddy going home saw a tree on there fince
He got worried about them getting out bought the 375 r and ammo cheap
I get called by the local law to deal with animals mostly livestock that gets out
The only guns I have that Might be ok for that is a 45-70 or 338 win mag
If there might be a deep penetrating load
It probably will never be a issue I hope
But it has happened before where a elephant got lose and cause problems
Again sorry meds and dyslexia

Can you post pics of this gun I am very interested in seeing it

I am not computer savvy the only reason I have a smart phone now is because track phone stopped supporting there older phones

I remember seeing signs for those road side attractions years ago. I also remember just east of Tallahassee seeing asiatic water buffalo along I-10, ales wanted to stop and look at them but never did. The buffalo along the interstate weren’t very long ago.

Remember the monkeys at the silver spring jungle boat tour place?
From what I read and heard they are a problem down there
There a silver springs wma I was told you could get in some monkey shooting during small game season

Whatever you do, you need to make sure someone gets it on video.

Just wanted to say thanks for the excellent customer service. Ordered some 9.3x62 brass and the delivery was a little short. An email through your website Contact Us link was replied to the next day with the tracking info for the correction. Good pricing coupled with great customer service will see returning customers every time. Thanks again!

X5i scope is perfect - thanks for an easy transaction! Buy with confidence.
Made it to Augusta Georgia yesterday for a meeting, hunt bookings are looking good for 2026 and 2027, had a great time on our Alabama safari shot a rutting deer at 200 yards with 7mm PRC near Huntsville and then headed on to Butler Alabama and semi guided my first deer ever shot a very nice broken off 8 point with hunter there and spend a few days on 1100 acres hunting preserve awesome place!

I am righthanded, so not interested in the rifle, but I have a 375 RUM and 350 gr bullet loading data is very hard to come by. If you could reply with information regarding your loads I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you, Ray Boone, Leavenworth, WA
