Just Bought a Double 9.3x74r - for $200-00 not Joking

This requires a field report - bidding at auction as is my want - that and beer anyhow up pops a Baikal O/U 9.3x74 R @ Bonhams Auctioneers in the UK -

Will have a punt at that - described as excellent - the hammer fell @ £166-40 - or approx 200 USD -

18 months later it has finally arrived - Brand new unfired - so off to the range to test my new purchase in the coming days !

Now the problem is I am indeed this cheap as some of you know- so a PH who asked not to mention his name on hearing of my good fortune said on my next trip he could probably find me a serious cull buff for cheap - he of course knows I love cheap ! - So if I can get it to regulate - the tale of the $200 double dropping a $2000 Buff may come to pass

Will be interesting ! Though rumour and a chat with the Baikal importer for UK there are three SBS in the country ! Who knew !

Congrats! For what it is worth the few Baikal shotguns I have been acquainted with did there job perfectly in a robust and rugged sort of way.

You can regulate the barrels your self , under the stock are the systems , also several scope mounts to find for it also .

I sell them here in Iceland the shotguns - with one year warranty - never had a claim and all used collecting the rifles some interesting ones - 222 single barrel - 243 308 30-06 ... doubles want a 7,62 x 54r - SBS and OU - have a 45.70 SBS coming
