Went to "Jurassic World" yesterday and learned a few things:

1. If hunting an animal the size of a T-Rex, you need to use a 45-70.

2. Double rifle and bolt trash need not apply. A real hunter uses a lever action.

3. Forget open sights, ghost sights, red-dot or low magnification scopes. For 20 yard and closer shots you need a scope with enough magnification to have a 40mm objective lens.

4. Forget solids. The best bullet is a lead tipped soft.

If any of you ever get the chance to hunt one of these creatures, you can thank me for this valuable information by bringing me back a rib eye!

All the best and happy hunting. I will fire up the grill!

Is the movie worth the admission price?

Havent seen it but heard it was bad. I love the OP post! But lets not be too hard on us "lever" guys now. I took one to RSA last year! And used a semi solid, the Triple Shock!!

K,

I saw it in 3-D. I enjoyed the special effects. They look pretty real to me. Otherwise the movie was about like the first one 20 years ago. If you liked it you will probably like this one. If you didn't.....

wow, ive never owned a cowboy gun ,,,,,,, hers my excuse............does a horse still come them lever guns ?

Of course. Except for those stripped horses found around the tropic of Capricorn.

Type slower!!!! I'm taking notes...

You never know when this stuff will come in handy.... ;)

It made over $200 million on opening weekend. Not bad, for a bad movie.:ROFLMAO:

I saw it last night, its decent. Nowhere near as good as the first but worth seeing. The acting wasn't that good and the kids were more annoying than anything. The kids in the original movie actually benefited the movie and did a good job acting; like the kitchen scene. A lot in the movie also seemed unnecessary towards the plot and detrimental for the movie such as the kids parents getting divorced, the evil ingen guys, the raptors switching from good to bad to good, etc.

Went to it last night my daughter Mahlia wants to shoot a dinosaur. Do they have then in Africa, I could be in trouble

Hey as long as the popcorn is good that I like to eat on my butter, life is good at the movies. Especially if it is raining outside!

Do they have then in Africa,
They have Crocodiles which I believe were around at least that far back! They certainly look and act the part!

After the show going home Mahlia said she's already shot a dinosaur when she got her alligator in Florida. She is definitely smarter than her dad

Just my personal choice, but I want something bigger then a 45-70. .577 T-Rex at least.

I saw it in iMax 3D and I really enjoyed it. It was not as good as it could have been (the dialogue was god awful) and it was not even close to as scary as the orginal, but it accomplished what it set out to be: an over-the-top dinosaur action extravaganza. I definitely think it was worth seeing and I recommend it to others. I do think that it is not even close to appropriate for young children, though, unless you want to make them wet the bed when they see their dinosaur toys.

On the gun side, the lesson I took from it is that you should always bring a rocket launcher. Spoiler alert: a raptor bites the dust spectacularly as a result of a rocket launcher.

I saw it recently. No idea what it was about because all I could think about was getting a Starbucks and buying a Mercedes.

Who said product placement doesn't work?

Just wanted to say thanks for the excellent customer service. Ordered some 9.3x62 brass and the delivery was a little short. An email through your website Contact Us link was replied to the next day with the tracking info for the correction. Good pricing coupled with great customer service will see returning customers every time. Thanks again!
