I don't think it means what I think it means

I never gave giraffe much thought because of ceiling height restrictions but seeing this mount I now realize you can pretty much loose most of the shoulder to have it fit...

That is why I had my neck on my giraffe turned the way it is. I will add a tree when I make the ped mount like it is eating. I think paul said it was just under 9ft tall that way with base. I like some of the shoulder to show the mass of the animal.

I thought the same thing and just told the taxidermy studio I wanted it about 6 feet and a pedestal so it would fit in a regular 8 foot ceiling room. Worked out well in my opinion.

I agree, I like it with some shoulder showing too.

Interesting.

A wall pedestal in my shop means part of the back would be finished like a pedestal mount, others would be considered extreme off shoulder mounts if the back is entirely against the wall.

@tedthorn , very interesting way of mounting.

Hi Lance, Hope you well. I collect Mauser rifles and they are very much part of my cultural history in Africa. Would you consider selling the rifle now a year on ? I'd like to place it in my collection of Mauser rifles. Many thx

I saw where you hunted elephant with backcountry safaris in Zimbabwe.
Was looking to book an elephant hunt and wanted to know how your hunt went
and if you would recommend them.

Thanks
Mike
hi, do you know about lions hunters, leopard hunters, and crocodiles hunters of years 1930s-1950s
I'm new to Africa Hunting. I would like to purchase a Heym 450-400 double rifle. I'm left-handed but would prefer a non-canted gun. Is anyone in the community considering parting with theirs?
