The wife booked a last minute trip to Finland and Estonia at the end of July. From what I understand there is no season open during July in Finland other than gray seal. I was thinking of either a Roe deer hunt or some wild boar but am open to suggestions. Just looking for a quick cultural and fun hunting experience. If anyone has any suggestions of outfits they have used in the past that would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for any replies!

I don’t know anything about hunting in Estonia but roe deer hunting is my favorite hunting of any animal. End of July is a good time to get the start of roe deer rut in most of Europe.

Look at Wildmark in Finland. Talked to the guy but did not (yet) hunted with them. Nice guy with lot of knowledge. Wild boar is open, look at their website.

What is the minimum you would take.

I have a Chapuis 450-400 double that looks brand new and shoots well, never been hunted from what I can tell. I am willing to part with it as I have a 375 H&H Sodia on it's way from Dorleac & Dorleac. I am looking for $9,250 for it and if you are interested, I am happy to send you some pictures. Regards,
Steve
