I agree Bob !!
@Matt 72
Bundy is a great preservative but unfortunately age and bloody hard work catches up on the body eventually.
Unfortunately work hard, play hard and enjoy life later is pure bullshit
WHS stood for work harder stupid when I was younger. The body is now paying the price .
Good thing is I can still hunt and enjoy life with my wife, son, family and friends.
Life use good as long as I have coffee to start the day

“The only man I envy is the man who has not yet been to Africa, because he has so much to look forward to.” Richard Mullin.

I have been very blessed, fortunate, and lucky in my lifetime - 4 trips thus far to the Dark Continent. First trip was in 1994 on a church mission trip to Kenya and Tanzania. Latest trip was in May 2024 on a bongo & forest sitatunga hunt in the jungles of Cameroon.

I have never had a bad day in Africa. Next hunt can’t get here soon enough. I love the place but especially the equatorial jungle. Happy hunting to all, TheGrayRider a/k/a Tom.

First trip was 39th birthday. Trip #2 was at current age of 41 years old. Wish I could go again soon but maybe a few years before I get back out there because I have to build a house and pay for taxidermy from trip #2. If you mount everything then tough to go every year or even every two years. I also take a yearly duck hunt trip and yearly whitetail hunt trip. Sometimes turkey hunt trip. It all adds up.

I have a Chapuis 450-400 double that looks brand new and shoots well, never been hunted from what I can tell. I am willing to part with it as I have a 375 H&H Sodia on it's way from Dorleac & Dorleac. I am looking for $9,250 for it and if you are interested, I am happy to send you some pictures. Regards,
Steve
