How can I mount a kudu to the wall?

Hello!
I’m not from the US and I couldn’t find any advice in my own language. I thought this might be the best place to ask. I have a kudu shoulder mount. It doesn’t have a backplate, brackets, screws or anything in the back. Our walls are very sturdy, not drywall. But I’m still scared that the taxidermy is too front heavy and might fall off with just brackets or screws. I read some posts on here, but English isn’t my first language and I couldn’t translate everything properly. I saw some stuff about studless wall mount hangers but I’m not sure how those would work with taxidermy. I also saw ads of a timber lock, but they don’t sell those in my country and shipping would take ages. I would be very happy if I could find everything in a hardware store. Also pictures are appreciated, so I don’t mistranslate and go looking for completely wrong things! I’m open for anything but I don’t love the look of a backplate.

A picture of the backside of the mount would help.

I just have a 6mm lag screwed into my trophy wall which is drywall and plywood. There is just a hangar on the back of the mount that hangs on the lag.

You'll be surprised at how little it takes to secure a mount to a wall.

Should not be a problem. Go to your hardware store and tell them you need to hang a 100 pound piece of taxidermy. Take a picture to show them. They should be able to provide you a bracket that will hang on a sturdy nail. That is how my kudu is hung. no problems

A version of this would work with lag bolts or a wall anchor.

I’m assuming the kudu mount has plywood base. Most mounts have some sort of hanger bracket. For most of my mounts, I simply drill an undersized hole at a slightly downward angle and then drive a large nail. My walls are Sheetrock over 3/4 inch plywood.

Just like hanging a large picture on your wall

these two pictures are exactly what I have. Any hardware store should have them

Nothing like that available here so I make my own heavy duty hangers. This one is on the backside of a plaque for VERY large moose euro skull mount. Actually, I mounted a pair of antler sheds on a faux (fake) hornless euro skull. That was a tough job! The shed antlers were so heavy they cracked the plastic skull. We fully warrantee our work and client brought it back. I'm using fiberglass to anchor the thick aluminum studs holding sheds to plastic skull. Bondo wasn't strong enough. Should have it ready for painting tomorrow. I have been tied up with a very difficult caribou skull cap mount that was a rush job. Anyway, my hangers are strong enough to hold even the heaviest mounts. This one is flush mounted so the plaque is snug against the wall. For shoulder mounts I don't recess the hangers. Not necessary. These hangers are cut from 1" wide aluminum strap metal. Hangers are 1.5" long and attached with four #4 woodscrews 1/2" long.

Thank you all for answers! The back is just plywood, nothing special.
I haven’t seen brackets like that in my local hardware stores. I feel like every time I need something specific I can’t find it, even though I live in a big city with all the possible amenities. But the pictures are very helpful. I can just show staff and they can guide me. Or maybe I’ll look online, some pictures had a mckenzie stamp so their website was easy to find!

mckenzie will have exactly what you need

As Rare Breed said go to Mckenzie and check out the Peace Of Mind hanger. I have a large moose with one of these and it works great, it's also easy to hang knowing you're bottomed out in the hanger with your lag bolt.
