I am Jaco Strauss I have been a full time professional hunter for the last 12 years I look forward to many interesting subjects and also some input from all. I am open to suggestions but might no agree so be prepared!

I was born in the Waterberg mountains of South Africa and have hunted since I was a young boy this includes, Namibia, Zimbabwe, Mozambique and Botswana. I take what I do very serious and I am dedicated to the concept of sustainable use as a conservation tool.

Are you the same Jaco Strauss whos hunting partner owns among other things the little store at Rooibokkraal?
If so, I believe we spoke a couple years in a row in Phoenix Arizona about a hyena hunt you did once which involved a VERY close encounter with lions while you were in a hide. I remember walking away from your booth in a cold sweat after hearing that story. HaHaHahaha.
