Heym Model 89b Chambered In 500 NE

This rifle is gone to a new home, but if you keep an eye out on the classifieds, they pop up from time to time for reasonable prices.

Ralph Martini has an 88B in a 450/400 for sale. I bought an 89B through him earlier this year. Great experience. Tell him that Frank that bought the 500 NE from him referred you. Great guy!

Does anyone know if this is on a Gross Box?
Thank you.

How does one go about importing a firearm from Canada to the US? I’m sure Ralph Martini would know…

Congratulations on the sale. That was a beautiful rifle in a very desirable chambering.

He will advise you. I bought a gun from Ralph…it just takes about 6 to 8 weeks which was surprising to me it took that long

I just bought a rifle from Ralf and am using Border View to import it. Their estimate is four months. The delay is on the US side according to them.

Elwood Epps sent me a link. Can take some time, stated up to 30 weeks, + an addl: 6 to 8. $695 for long guns plus the addl: Local FFL transfer fee.
Not a huge concern. The only FFL here would have to drive to the nearest "International Airport" for p/u. That's the hitch, personally.

Now, that may be a stretch, not quite correct.
A couple members have suggested calling Ralph Martini.

Here's a photo of Tony receiving that Shaw & Hunter award at the 1970 annual EAPHA Dinner Dance. Tony Dyer, then EAPHA President and Princess (Sunny) von Auersperg presented it. I also attended the event.
