Thank you so much for your info
On Hunting Affair I was discussing with 5-6 outfitters but the discussion with him was shortly, strict on point and all his answers on subject.
Some small scratchiz on his hands(so a man of action) so I like him immediately
And we have a dale.
Thank you for your post
All the best

Adrian, you have some fantastic trophies. I'm jealous. We do not have free roaming Red Stag in the U.S. the closest thing to them that we have is Elk. Unfortunately they are found about 2,000 miles from where I live and cost more to hunt than going on a PG hunt in Africa.

I don't recall you mentioning if you reload or not. There is a current thread on AH regarding loading information for the
8 x 68 caliber you are planning to use in Africa.

Did you take those bear with your 8 x 68? They look HUGE. How much did they weigh?

Very impressive trophies indeed!
Congratulations!
What area in Roumania do you hunt?

welcome adrain, youve come to the right place.

state of the art +.

I'm using the 8x68 for 7 hunting season with hundreds of pcs hunted with weights start from 35 kgs to 400 kgs!!
What I understand that the animals from Africa are strong/taf on shooting impacts
I have two friends which there are hunting in Africa from almost 7 years and they are using my caliber with norma swift a frame 13 grams with best results and with any problem on buffalo, lion, hippo, crocs
So for shore will not be a problem for plain games on my Safaris
Thank you

Yes
The black one(but is brown bear) the weight it was 380 kgs
And the brown one 420 kgs
Our brown bears are smallers then brown bears in Kamceatka
The brown one is 6,5 points less then mondial rekord
They are the best bears of mine and I have some pcs
Thank you

I think that the "Generalization" that African animals are tuff is way over played. The bigger culprit is poor shot placement and or improper bullet construction. I used a .358 caliber bullet weighing 225 Gr. at 2800 fps. for all of the larger animals I took. All of them were down in under 50 yards. The Impala sized animals I took with the 6.5 x 55 never took a step. The animals that my sons took also dropped where they stood except for the ones where they made a poor shot.

Jerome, do you think my last post in rough camping must maybe shift as an article?

Good afternoon,

I'm trying to get in contact with Mr Butch Searcy. I have the opportunity to buy one of his rifles chambered in 577 nitro Express however the seller does not have any of the paperwork with the information about what ammunition or bullet weight was used to regulate it. I know he is not making firearms anymore but I wanted to reach out after seeing one of your post about him.

Hi - the only (best) method of sending you the .375/06IMP data is with photographing my book notes. My camera died so the only way I can do it is with my phone. To do that, I would need your e-mail address, as this
new Android phone is too complicated to upload to my desk computer, which would be easier and to down-grade, reduce the file sizes.
Best wishes
Daryl
