FYI, Harbor Freight has their Apache gun and ammo cases on sale 40% off for today 7/22/25. I previously bought one on sale a few years back and have not taken it international but it's held up well for range trips.

I confused by their add. The normal listed price is $149 for the rifle case. Is it cheaper than that today?

Potentially an in store only thing. I’ve seen that before, I bought an air compressor from there on sale for 30% off and when I was looking it up to find more specs on it the website still had the full price listed. If it’s not too far out of your way and you want more cases, it may be worth a stop into your store to see. I know individual locations hold their own sales from time to time to move slow inventory or catch up on backlog. It may be in person only, or it may be the OP’s store only.

I did a test online purchase and the price was 149.99. The ad says in store only so I assume it's 40% off the online price. If $60 off, I'll snag one later and report back.

I can confirm that these Apache 9800 cases are on sale for $89.99. I just bought four of them and they’re excellent!

My local store said I had to be a member of the insider's club to get the discount.

What's the insider cost for a year? I think that it is $30 but I'm not sure. But the savings on the case would pay for a years membership.

I'm not a member since the nearest HF if 120 miles away, but when they open the one that is just 25 miles away I may be a pretty good customer just for sales like these.

I'm patiently watching the construction on the old Safeway building. That's a 5 mile drive for me.
I was actually in junction yesterday but didn't see this post until just now.

And to think that we would of had a Sportsman's Warehouse down at the old K-Mart years ago if Sportsman's and the town of Glenwood hadn't gotten into a pissing match about the size of the sign.

Hi HH, are those cases made in China? Thanks,
Stan

I think everything Harbor Freight sells is made in China.

I make a conscious effort not to buy any Chinese products. I cannot support a country that is trying to subvert the United States.

A big problem with that is just how many goods we have shipped over seas to China so that the owners of the companies can have a larger profit margin. That along with the American consumer not wanting to pay the higher cost of goods made here in the US.

Here's a photo of Tony receiving that Shaw & Hunter award at the 1970 annual EAPHA Dinner Dance. Tony Dyer, then EAPHA President and Princess (Sunny) von Auersperg presented it. I also attended the event.

Good Afternoon,
How firm are you on your Dakota 416? I am highly interested but looking at a few different guns currently.

Best,
BJ
