Hunted
South Africa & United States (Colorado, Florida, Mississippi, Texas, & Wyoming)
It's no secret that individuals like us represent a minority globally. We are passionate about our work and recognize its significance for conservation and economic development in Africa and worldwide.

However, we need to spread our message beyond our familiar circles. Too often, we engage only within AH and various Facebook groups. Our community boasts numerous talented writers, as demonstrated by the wealth of books, magazines, and online journals produced. A glance through the hunt reports on AH showcases the high quality of writing within our ranks. This makes sense, given that hunting in Africa can be expensive, with wealth generally concentrated among the educated (assuming here that educated people tend to write better). Not just that, but hunters have historically been known as the best storytellers, as we want to be able to take people along with us on our journeys.

To amplify our voices, our community needs to be sending out more freelance submissions to global publications, similar to this article:

We have the power to shape the narrative, or we can allow those who may never visit the continent we love to define it for us. Personally, I will be contributing to this effort.

And heck, if you get published, you might even have a few more spare dollars for trophy fees.

Sir, I will gladly take that 16 gauge off your hands. I was waiting for your Winchesters but I'm a sucker for a 16 ga.

I bought a great deal of the brass he had for sale, plus I already had many hundred rounds.

How much brass are you looking for?
