GCH held their 4th annual event this last Friday and Saturday nights at the La Cantera Resort in San Antonio. My outfitter, Phillip Bronkhorst, invited me to go, so I went last night. There were maybe 80 people there with 10-12 outfitters and sponsors from all over, including BLASER, Rigby and Kuiu. Open bar and a buffet dinner were great.
There was a high dollar raffle for hunts in RSA, Mozambique, Mexico, Australia, an “Istan” country, and even a walrus hunt. Blaser donated a full takedown rifle with case and accessories and Rigby donated gear. There was a beautiful Sauer .308 that I wanted, but alas…
I won 2 books donated by Rigby. Game Animals of Africa and Dagga Boy Volume 1. Can’t wait to start reading them!

Comgratulations!

Congratulations, on the books.

I was interested in going to see which outfitters were there as it was only a few miles from my house. I knew Phillip as there, he posted on Facebook.

Hi Dr. Ray, I will be in Cooktown from Oct 16 to Oct 23 fishing Lizard Island Black Marlin Tournament.

I have several "slack" days after fishing before I head for stay in Sydney and Fiji.

Do you have any recommendations for 1 or 2 day hunt near Cooktown?

I've hunted both DG and PG in 4 different countries in Africa.
Thank you,
Bob

Good morning. I see that you had a Sauer 202 for sale for $3,000. Did you sell it at that price?
I have one for sale as well. I listed it (on here ) at $3,000 as well. Is the price high, low or right where it should be?

Thanks. Alex. [redacted] in case you want to call me to discuss further. I appreciate your time help and support.

Dave, I could use both of them if still available. I just picked up a new .22 mag and a .22 pump that they would be perfect on.
