This is a 1980’s era Remington 1100 Special Field in 12 Ga. with a 25” barrel. Some of them had shorter barrels and the 25” seems to be preferred. The barrels on this one have been ported, which makes an already soft-shooting gun a little softer. It is a fixed skeet choke (not tubes). The length of pull is 14 5/8 inches to the end of the pad, which was professionally installed without cutting the wood. I'd estimate the weight at about 7 1/2 pounds. It balances and swings nicely. It has a new recoil spring and magazine tube spring, and is ready for the skeet course. There are some small marks on the wood and a few on metal, which I have tried to show in the photos. The mechanical functioning is excellent, overall condition is good to very good. Selling because I shoot skeet, on the infrequent occasions I get to do that, with a 28 ga now. This is a nice shotgun!
