Going through the process of getting trophies from Windhoek to Tambo Airport and then to taxidermist for tanning then back to Australia!
First time in doing this and it’s alot of back and fourth between outfitter , freight company and broker etc !
Was just wondering if anyone has recently had crates airfreighted with pronto and what was a rough cost of it ?
We got 12 animals !

Sorry was just asking cost roughly between Windhoek and Tambo Airport !
Thanks

That is not a route that I have much idea about. Three years ago I shipped Windhoek to Chicago for approx 1200$. Skins and skulls and horns.

For reference that was a leopard, skull and skin, full zebra skin, a Damara dik dik and a springbok All capes and skulls that were mounted in USA.

Yellowshark is a sponsor in AH and they arranged my shipping. They could give you an answer.

Ok thanks, our trophies are meant to already be with Pronto so hopefully hear something soon , just communication from our outfitter is unfortunately very slow !!!!

I just saw Budsgunshop.com has both the guide gun and the African for $1150. FWIW - I bought both and decided to use the Guide gun - I restocked it in a Bell and Carlson stock and I added the Alaska arms floor plate to add a round. I wanted the shorter barrel as I will use a suppressor. I wont go lower than $1100, but I will ship it and no sales tax.

Let me know if you are interested
