I have got and and read through the forum and can understand a lot of old times gripes with all the new people joining on AH. But on the other hand i admire hnterfl's desire to go to Africa. Call it a curse to have great friends and family that support someones dreams to go hunt Africa the most cost effective way. No shame what so ever using your resources. Some are born with money, Some work hard for money, and some don't have tons of money for a spendy Africa trip so they enter to win a trip. Sounds smart to me. Thanks for letting me stop by the forum it does have a great layout and the members are really professional about there responses. Thanks Mountain Lion!

Timtic with respect there is a difference between joining AH and voting and also intending to continue on the site making contributions to the different threads that are of interest to you, and simply signing up to cast a vote and logging off and disappearing into the ether.........

Spike.t I don't understand why it is a issue to join a forum to make a vote. I would do that for any of my friends that asked. I don't even hunt but I do love helping a friend achieve his life goals. I guess you can call me a bad friend! Does it hurt the forum of the system to have more people join? If anything i believe that would help. Isn't that the way ads are paid for on the side of the page. I did look around on the site even though killing isn't my kind of thing. I think it s great people find joy in there hobbies and by letting someone vote it's just a chance to show new voters what AH is all about. Even if one voter stays on that's one more then you had. Tintec i am glad you looked around and enjoyed the site even if its not your thing. if you read my posts i have nothing against new people who join up to vote and then stay to join in/contribute ,or just enjoy reading/looking at all the stuff on here. yes i do have issues with people who as i said sign up simply to vote and disappear never to bother with the site again. they havent and never will contribute anything to the site, so i fail to see why they should be allowed to decide the outcome of a competition such as this which is for members of this site only. to me that doesnt constitute being a member, or being in the spirit of the competition. regards
