There is that something special that sets a truly beautiful creation apart. Immediately recognisable, most get it, if not all. Sometimes it is the line, sometimes the proportion, like the Golden Rectangle. The e-type Jaguar had it in spade fulls, it was so beautiful that Enzo called it 'the most beautiful car in the world' and commented 'the only thing wrong with it is I didn't make it'.
There are a few double rifles that fit the bill, the Heym 89b, and the Gibbs it was taken from. The barrels could have been 25inches, but 26inchrs is just right.
So what does it for you? Watches, knives, hats, and of course rifles. And yes, cars.

English double guns (shotguns), are in my opinion, the pinnacle of the gunmakers art.

Agreed. E-Type is surely on the list along Porsche 911's, the Spitfire, Submariners, Purdey SxS game guns, Loveless drop point knives.
Have you got a post of a loveless?

Beautiful car, but it still has POS Jaguar engine.

Hi Kevin,
Maybe you have seen it bust in Pretia E I saw a better than new series land rover 1954

Classic firearms, vintage cars, fine Damascus steel, all man made and pure elegance.

On a different tack, the clean wake of our boat running home from a bear hunt is stunning.

Good afternoon,

I'm trying to get in contact with Mr Butch Searcy. I have the opportunity to buy one of his rifles chambered in 577 nitro Express however the seller does not have any of the paperwork with the information about what ammunition or bullet weight was used to regulate it. I know he is not making firearms anymore but I wanted to reach out after seeing one of your post about him.

Hi - the only (best) method of sending you the .375/06IMP data is with photographing my book notes. My camera died so the only way I can do it is with my phone. To do that, I would need your e-mail address, as this
new Android phone is too complicated to upload to my desk computer, which would be easier and to down-grade, reduce the file sizes.
Best wishes
Daryl

Hey Steve, This is Steve Washington we met at KMG last year. I am interested in your Winchester. Would love to speak with you about it. I work third shift and I cannot take a phone with me to work. Let me know a good time to call during one of your mornings. My phone is [redacted]. Live in Florida so I have to account for the time difference.
Look forward to hearing from you.
