I think they are very very close to the same

Some of these pads are defective, but only noticed if a hollow void is found during shaping. If a pad is defective, CSMC/Galazan will give you a new one for free. (I think current MSRP is $75+?)

I've installed at least ten of these pads, I've had one bad one that was replaced no questions asked by the maker.
