Croatia is a wonderful country. We did a week long boat charter there last summer. Saw some really nice rams on one of the islands when we were doing a day hike. If you are in Zagreb make sure to get a Bjula sandwich.

Can't wait! We travel to Europe almost every year (unless headed to Argentina), but have yet to see Croatia. We'll spend a couple of days in Zagreb, then hunt for three or four days (roe deer and perhaps a boar), then off to the coast for ten days. Everyone says it is lovely. And yes, on you recommendation, I'll order that sandwich.

Vinodol is also a great restaurant in Zagreb. They do a roasted goat but I think only certain days of the week and you have to reserve a portion ahead of time. Your hotel will know what I mean. All the food is great and make sure to drink the dry white wines, some of the best you'll ever have and low production that never gets exported.

Thats a tough call, might be over by then , or conflagrated to a bigger war. you could always renegotiate your price to say 50$ and volunteer to serve watch at landing for incoming . a little levity always makes smoother transition.

In the same boat at the moment. I'm to fly tot RSA on Qatar Air in late July. For now I'm going with option 1 and waiting this out a bit with 4 plus months to spare. I made my reservations thru Patrick at PWP travel. I would guess that he is being inundated with phone calls this week from panicked traveler. I see no need to panic at this point and bother him this week with another phone call with my travel plans that far out. But I do plan to call him next week to seek his advice.

I’ve booked with Patrick as well for my May flights. Will give it at least a couple weeks before I reach out to him.
