Hi folks,

I'm going to DR with my family in march. Anyone been there for fishing?
Any advice or tips is of value.

been twice only got out on the ocean one time was just too ruff in porta plata . but do your research most of the so called guides are just there to take bucks off the tourists

I went when I was there, if you can't hire a private charter you'll end up with a dozen people on the boat and draw numbers for your turn. If you do get something they adamant that you can't keep it.
