Finally had to say goodbye to old friends ...but gave three rifles to hunt the world

303 Enfield Parker Hale 1950s conversion to sporter

404j Parker Hale ...unfired believed to be from the 1960s

505 Gibbs CZ 550

Now to plan this year's hunts

And some quality range time...ammo Kynoch is arriving to feed all three....

Have six years of Africa coming up ...yearly visits

And I did not have to sell the 470NE ...liver is much better beer free !

For me, It would have to be:
- .505 Gibbs built by Joe Smithson on a Granite Mountain Arms African Magnum Mauser action
- .375 Holland & Holland Magnum BRNO ZKK-602
- .30-06 Springfield Remington Model 30 Express

These are always fun.

Looking at what I have now.

Rigby Big Game in 416 Rigby
Rigby Highland Stalker in 30-06
Krieghoff Dreiling in 16ga x 16ga over 7x57R

Safe shooting

Three matched stainless (cerami-coated of some kind) bolt action rifles. Pick your maker, I think I’d pick Cooper. No sense breaking the bank.

.375 H&H, 30-06, .22LR.

Have a look af our latest post on the biggest roan i ever guided on!

I realize how hard the bug has bit. I’m on the cusp of safari #2 and I’m looking to plan #3 with my 11 year old a year from now while looking at my work schedule for overtime and computing the math of how many shifts are needed….

I'd like to get some too.

My wife (a biologist, like me) had to have a melanoma removed from her arm last fall.

Hallo Marius- do you have possibilities for stags in September during the roar? Where are your hunting areas in Romania?

I'm about ready to pull the trigger on another rifle but would love to see your rifle first, any way you could forward a pic or two?
Thanks,
