Figured Walnut Shaped Blanks G33/40, M70

I've got a couple nicely figured old rough shaped blanks that I hate to sell, but don't have any ambition to take ether rifle on at this time. These are old stocks. 30+ years old and most likely older. I know the Mauser stock is an old Fajen Rheinhart stock, and I think the M70 is as well, but I can't verify. They were both wetted with alcohol for the photos. Neither stock has any finish on them.

First is a walnut G33/40 Mauser stock. This is a very nice stock with good of figure and figure to some extent throughout the entire stock. I'm not sure what the caps are but they have nice figure as well. Comb was left high and would look nice contoured down. Has been rough inletted, but not worked on yet. Pencil thin barrel inlet so you can cut to fit your needs. The stock does have some spots that I would call checks, but not sure if they are inclusions or were filled in. I have more photos if needed.

Would also consider a trade for a rifle, s&w EZ, rifle action, or 22 pistol on ether stock.

Second stock is for a Winchester model 70. It is for a pre-64. Has been inletted to an action, but never finished. Heavy barrel contour, 1" at the forearm end. Nice figure from the wrist to the butt pad. Forearm appears straight grained. Has a small chip on the left rear side as shown in photo. Would make a really nice vintage varmint build.
