I cannot believe I missed this. If you ever want to sell your other one please pm me and I will buy it!!! @Wildwillalaska if you change your mind, I will buy it!!!!

As someone that works with leather, that is a beautiful case. I just made myself a wallet from elephant, giraffe, wildebeest and cape buffalo. Also just finished an elephant/sting ray/hippo knife sheath for a feather damascus knife made by the late, great Eric Els.

It’s a very stout protective case. The lining is better than natural wool.

Many think wool is the best lining. and it used to be. but it can be an issue if you put a damp or wet gun inside of a case. Or if it’s just humid when you use it.

“The processing of wool can leave behind trace amounts of acids from cleaning or dyes, which, when combined with trapped moisture, can trigger a corrosive reaction with the rifle's steel. While pure wool has a natural pH of 4.5 to 6.5, processing can alter its acidity.

Capillary action of fibers: Wool fibers can trap and hold moisture against the surface of the steel. In a closed environment like a rifle case, this creates a humid microclimate. The trapped moisture and air exposure can cause the iron in the steel to oxidize, forming rust.”
