Just watched a very nice presentation on fine English double rifles on Gun Stories. Great info on history and development of doubles offered by several knowledgable experts, it was fun to watch. I visited Holland and Holland, Boss, Purdy &Sons and William Evans a few years back on a trip to London. I was boorish enough to ask for prices, the sales folks enjoyed my responses. What is interesting is the waiting times on orders for their top firearms. The slow motion video of recoil was also interesting especially the .500 calibers and larger.

Hadn't seen this show before, but just found it and set it to record. Comes on at 4 am here...

What is the waiting time? Years Im sure, but how many?

Watched it! It was pretty good, wish they had more time to get into more details on guns, calibers.

Wish we had shows like this in South Africa.

Looking forward to watching this one. Thanks for the heads up!

Gotta love anything with Joe Mantegna in it

Just got to watch it. I guess I was expecting more. It would have been a nice intro session into a much more detailed show, or just pick one comp my such as H&H and focus on them.

And way too much time wasted throughout the show with the slow mo shooting of the double.

Don't get me wromg, cool stuff, just want more detail! :W Shotgun:

I read an older thread that mentioned you having some 9.3x64 brass. Do you still have some? I am looking for 100 pcs, maybe 200.
